After re-opening the solar rebate program on May 3rd, the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities was so overwhelmed with applications that it has again closed off the rebate program.
It is not all bad news. The State SREC program for Solar PV Systems provides such an strong incentive that even without the rebates, solar in New Jersey is an attractive economic proposition.
